Healthy Recipes: Protein Chocolate Fudge Balls

Ladies, we have a really special treat today. If you love chocolate, you will definitely love this recipe. What makes it even cooler is that you can bring it with you to your work meetings and snack on them, without anyone even knowing that they are healthy!

The catch is that you probably will not be able to find some of the ingredients in the regular supermarkets and will have to make a trip to your nearest health food store to grab some organic cocoa powder, almond meal and organic coconut shreds. Once you have all the ingredients, let’s get to cooking:

What you need:

  • 100g chocolate whey protein powder
  • 50g almond meal
  • 50g unsweetened organic shredded coconut plus 10g extra for coating
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 50g unsweetened organic cocoa powder
  • 4-5 squirts or more of liquid Stevia
  • Cold water

What you do:

  1. Combine all ingredients except water and additional coconut for coating
  2. Knead together into a paste, gradually adding water until it is dough-like
  3. Mould into 21 small balls and cover in additional coconut
